How does it work?
By being part of J-LOFT, Jewish teens from the MetroWest area can participate in a variety of programs, courses, and activities, offered by a team of local clergy members and educators.
J-LOFT’s “bread and butter” are our program-wide Monthly Meetups, taking place one Sunday night a month. At the Monthly Meetups, teens enjoy a special workshop, activity, or an intriguing guest, and divide into electives based on grade. Delicious dinner is always included.
Beyond the Monthly Meetups, teens can choose to participate in one of our travel programs, ranging from a weekend to a 10-day trip to Israel.
J-LOFT is open to all teens in grades 8-12, regardless of temple affiliation, and is intended to complement, and not substitute individual synagogues’ Religious or Hebrew School programs. In fact, many students who attend J-LOFT do so in addition to their own temple’s programs.
J-LOFT is generously supported by CJP and all the partnerting synagogues, thus offering attractive programming in very affordable costs.
