L'taken Social Justice Seminar

Join a select group of J-LOFT teens for an inspiring weekend in our nation’s capital as part of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism’s L’Taken Social Justice Seminar. Together with hundreds of Jewish teens from across North America, participants will explore pressing social justice issues through a Jewish lens and learn how to turn their values into meaningful action. The seminar culminates with a day on Capitol Hill, where students meet with elected officials and advocate for causes they care about.

  • Develop advocacy and leadership skills
  • Research and prepare policy positions on issues that matter to you
  • Meet Jewish teens from across the United States and Canada
  • Lobby members of Congress on Capitol Hill

Who Can Participate?

Open to J-LOFT students in grades 10–11. Participation is limited to a small delegation, allowing for a close-knit and impactful experience.


Pricing

$800 per person for students who register by August 1, 2026. After August 1, the cost increases to $950. Program fees include accommodations and seminar registration. Airfare is not included and is estimated at approximately $200.
